The very first performance benchmarks of the amd ryzen 7 1700 processor versus the intel core i7-7700k have just been leaked.. With 3.6 ghz base/4.0 ghz boost clocks, amd’s ryzen 7 1800x is the fastest 8-core processor on socket am4, amd’s mainstream processor platform.. I have a 1700, paired with a 970. frames are between 40-60, improving from 30-50 on my old i5 2300. expect 40 fps with that setup on koth.
